Co-founder of Performance Projects Ltd, an engineering consultancy based at Silverstone targetting the motorsport, niche automotive and historic car sectors. From our fully equipped business unit at Silverstone Technology Park (on the perimeter of Silverstone Circuit), Performance Projects has delivered key vehicles and design work for a host of well known names. Our niche automotive work covers a number of OEM\'s, providing proof of concept or special vehicles for bespoke applications, or vehicles with unique features for proof of market or marketing promotion. Our motorsport clients include Formula 1, GT3, BTCC and Le Mans constructors biasing toward chassis and suspension design. Finally, our historic vehicle design work has covered marques including Bugatti, Aston Martin and Cosworth, engineering from used components, images and clean sheet. In addition to vehicle-specific work, Performance Projects has also successfully delivered consultancy work on a range of projects, from child car seat innovations to consumer products. Or most recent work is at the forefront of electric vehicles, including a fully autonomous, high voltage, electric tractor, and a hub motor application for the Ocelot defence vehicle. As the role of Managing Director, responsibilities cover all commercial and operational aspects of the company, as well as undertaking design tasks as required. The challenges of creating a start-up venture and developing it into a trusted supplier for key programmes has been an exciting and interesting experience. The task of generating further growth and delivering even more interesting programmes is both an exciting and motivational drive.
