I am the investigative reporter for WAVY-TV 10 On Your Side, the NBC affiliate in the Hampton Roads region of VA and the Outer Banks region of NC. I’ve done in-depth coverage on the opioid crisis, issues affecting veterans, unscrupulous contractors, and extensive reporting of major criminal trials. I\'ve been a college communications instructor, an independent communications consultant, and an award-winning veteran of 30 years of broadcast journalism. Prior to WAVY, I was the Director of Communications for the Institute for Advanced Learning and Research in Danville, VA. It is affiliated with Virginia Tech and poised to capitalize on emerging markets and technology.
