   Direct all Communications, Media Relations, and Community Relations strategy for a large metropolitan District Attorney’s Office just north of Denver. • Engage with local, regional, and national press, proactively and reactively, on the work of the District Attorney’s Office and its staff. • Organize press conferences and other public facing events to ensure the communities we serve are informed of the work of the District Attorney’s Office. • Craft press releases and other forms of written and digital communication for dissemination with the purpose of public information. • Cultivate and develop impactful and memorable stories from within our organization that are shared through our own communications channels and those of outside organizations such as local and national press. • Create relationships and partnerships with schools, non-profit organizations, law enforcement entities, and other community-based organizations within the 17th Judicial District of Colorado and beyond. • Plan and execute office participation in community events that further our efforts to connect with the communities we work on behalf of. • Established a social media presence from scratch for the District Attorney\'s Office on various platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube that are now used as key communications tools for the office. • Conceptualized and built a new website for the District Attorney’s Office that allows the public to better understand the work of the office and to interact directly with members of our team.• Prepare the District Attorney and his staff for interviews with press as well as appearances and speaking engagements at public-facing events within the community. • Manage crisis communications for large-scale events that directly intersect with the work of the District Attorney’s Office.
