I am a full time faculty member teaching torts, privacy, cybersecurity, and Python at UC-Berkeley. In my consulting role, I serve on boards for Constella Intelligence, Palantir Technologies, and FoolProof Foundation; I am of counsel to Gunderson Dettmer, LLP, with a focus on emerging technology and venture clients. My recent book with Simson Garfinkel is The Quantum Age (Cambridge University Press 2022). My new textbook with Golden G. Richard is Cybersecurity in Context (Wiley 2024).
