About Chris Holt

An accomplished business professional with extensive experience in management, financial oversight, budgeting, financial forecasting, accounting, operations, procurement, corporate insurance, and contracts. Chris has a rich background in the governmental non-profit arena where he has been a key player in developing financial proposals for domestic and international projects. Originally from Florence, Alabama, Chris currently works for the International Fertilizer Development Center (IFDC) in Corporate Services where he manages the global Division. Chris’s professional education began at the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, where he studied accounting and graduated cum laude in May of 2006 from the Culverhouse School of Accountancy with a Bachelor of Science degree in Commerce and Business Administration. While at Alabama, Chris enjoyed many activities around campus such as football and basketball games as well as interacting with accounting professionals through the many networks provided by the School of Accountancy. In 2008, Chris continued his education by pursuing a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of North Alabama. Chris continued his study of accounting with additional emphasis on finance and successfully graduated in 2009. While completing his MBA, Chris was accepted into the UNA chapter of The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, the nation’s oldest and most selective collegiate honor society for all academic disciplines.Currently, Chris resides in Florence, where he and his wife Tiffany raise two beautiful children, Grace Ann and Jackson Bryant, while both working full time jobs. Chris enjoys playing outside with his kids and walks through the neighborhood with his wife.
