About Chris Henderson
D. Christopher Henderson, a native of North Carolina, and a twenty+ year veteran of the United States Secret Service Accomplished executive currently assigned as the Deputy Assistant Director with the United States Secret Service (2020-Present). In this position, he has/had direct operational oversight over the following Divisions/Offices (Partial list): Twenty-three direct subordinate offices to include the largest field offices within the Secret Service (New York Field Office, Washington Field Office, Philadelphia Field Office, Chicago Field Office; the Paris Field Office and Rome Field Office combine for responsibility over 130 different countries. 2,500 protective assignments in past two years. Global/International Operations- 20+ offices; executive oversight of the protective and investigative responsibilities to include fiscal management of a $55M budget, employment staffing of over 75 internationally based positions, as well policy adherence to both Secret Service as well as Department of State guidelines. protective assignments in past two years. Senior executive within the Office of Investigations responsible for the recruiting, hiring, staffing and placement for approximately INV personnel spread across 150+ domestic and international offices. Prior to his current assignment, Mr. Henderson was assigned as the Special Agent in Charge of the Paris Field Office (20••••20) which encompassed 67 European/African countries with subordinate offices located in: London, Madrid, Frankfurt, Tallinn, The Hague as well as supervisory agents assigned to both Europol and Interpol. In this assignment, Mr. Henderson led a team of special agents, tactical teams, protective intelligence professionals, analysts and administrative/technical professionals in working with host governments to ensure the safety of those protected by the Secret Service to include the President of the United States, Vice President of the United States, their immediate families, former presidents and spouses, as well as any others designated by Presidential executive orders.
