Assists Market Leader (GM) in efforts to reach profit, performance, and quality service goals.• Plan and organize daily activities related to logistics and operations including re-route and optimizations.• Ensures safety standards are achieved in partnership with GM through reviews, coaching, and enforcement.• Direct oversight of dispatcher, service technicians/ route drivers, pick up & delivery drivers, yard personnel, and mechanic/shop.• Ensures team assignments and responsibilities are reasonable, balanced, and adapted to business unit seasonality. Daily supervises drivers, mechanics, and yard team members.• Facilitates weekly spot checks, and ensures appropriate action (relocation, cleaning, retraining, etc.) is taken.• Leads all driver hiring and development activities.Ensure new employees are appropriately trained and safety training remains up to date.• Inventory Management including, but not limited to, regular audits of equipment (supplies, vehicles, and units - quality, and quantity), creating or ensuring that all licensing/tags, repair scheduling, product/supply orders, and/or replacement planning with Market Leader, and rebranding is complete.
