About Chris Hammer
I am a sustainability consultant and researcher. My services include: 1.) LEED consulting, 2.) research and 3.) engaging occupants to reduce the environmental impact of their buildings. LEED consulting: certified 10 buildings. Two projects achieved Platinum. Research: conducted several qualitative research studies. A project for the California Air Resources Board explored the role of building operators to conserve energy while balancing the thermal comfort needs of occupants. CBSM: use community-based social marketing (CBSM) and other behavioral strategies to engage occupants to increase recycling and save energy and water in commercial office buildings or schools.
