ABOUT CHRIS HALLENDY

I am passionate about solving problems. But not just any problems, business problems; big, hairy, debilitating business problems. And my weapon of choice—technology.As Chief Executive Officer of Resolute Building Intelligence, I lead a team of like-minded problem solvers in tackling one of today’s most important business issues—building performance, including inefficient energy use, which equates to $100 billion+ annually in wasted economic activity. But energy is just the beginning. Poor building performance also leads to excessive maintenance costs, shortened equipment life, depressed asset values, substandard air quality and more, not to mention the severe environmental impacts. This is the big, hairy, debilitating business problem me and Resolute solve with our building-performance analytics and reporting software, which transforms the massive amounts of incoherent data generated daily by building systems and equipment into real-time, easy-to-understand answers to achieve significant performance gains across the entire building envelope. It is technology that will change an entire industry, and it was born from a driving passion to solve problems. Prior to assuming the CEO role, I was lead architect and chief product officer, responsible for designing and helping develop Resolute’s innovative technology. I graduated from Central Michigan University with dual degrees in Computer Science and Political Science and am active in the start-up scene, frequently consulting with entrepreneurs on a host of business and technology issues.
