Following a couple years dedicated to professional development, earning an MBA and CISA Certification, I was ready for a move to a broader discipline of Auditing, Automation and Testing as a Senior Tech Controls & Compliance Analyst.\\\\n\\\\nAfter joining the internal audit function supporting team that had traditionally conducted manual control assessments, I was instantly inserted into the planning and implementation of an automated control assessment tool. More specifically this tool was a Python application that would scan internal sources for SDLC relevant evidence, make a determination of compliance, and then feed annual assessment records to a GRC tool. In addition to overseeing technical aspects of compliance, I\'m also responsible for managing findings and remediation plans from open to close, as well as shaping what future states of compliance policies, standards, processes, procedures, and controls will look like in DevOps methodologies and beyond.\\\\n \\\\n\\\\n \\\\n \\\\n\\\\n \\\\n
