I trained initially as a Drama Teacher at the Central School of Speech & Drama in London, before moving to Bristol to do the 2 year post-graduate Actor Training at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School. On graduating from the B.O.V.T.S I was awarded the Peter Akerman Prize for Comedy. I have worked extensively in theatre, radio, voiceovers, commercials & in short films since 1988.I am Artistic Director of the Bristol based and highly acclaimed Comedy Improvisation company, INSTANT WIT.I enjoy making short films in particular - mostly comedic - hence my invented title of \"Comedy Creative\".Being a Comedy Creative allows me to persue my over-arching ambition of being able to \"do, create & teach\" comedy as often as I possibly can, through the outlet of my various creative endeavours.If you\'d like to see some examples of my film/comedy work, then you can see a selection of clips on my Chris Grimes website and paste the above URL into your browser address bar to take you straight there)Enjoy!
