ABOUT CHRIS GRIFFITHS
Chris Griffiths is a Director and Mining Rock Mechanics Consultant based out of WSP\'s London Chancery Lane office where he leads WSP\'s (Formerly Golder) UK & Ireland Mining Business and represents Europe on WSP\'s Global Mine Leadership Team. Chris has been working for WSP (formerly Golder) since 2010 in both the United Kingdom and Canadian operations and has worked on projects across Africa, Asia, Europe, North and South America. He has extensive experience with open pit and underground applied rock mechanics, geotechnical rock mass characterization, large excavation design and ground support design. For the past eight years, Chris has focused on the underground caving environment specializing with on-site and off-site operational support with a focus on a large block cave operations. Chris is responsible for the delivery and implementation of geotechnical recommendations and designs as well as providing support to operational geotechnical concerns.
