ABOUT CHRIS GREEN
With over 20 years of experience in aerospace engineering, I am a passionate and innovative design integration specialist at Rolls-Royce currently leading a team of engineers developing new concepts for future civil and defence applications including Hydrogen Demo and UltraFan. I have a strong background in gas turbine externals, aerostructures, leading research and technology development, and a BEng Hons degree in Aerospace Engineering from The University of Manchester/UMIST. A strong collaborator, I work with internal and external stakeholders, including tier 1 suppliers, to ensure the design meets the technical, safety, and environmental requirements. I also leverage my skills in design supplier audits, which I have been leading for over 10 years, conducting technical audits of suppliers based on ISO9001/AS9100, RR SABRe and standards. Additionally, I have led the development and integration of new technologies for the UltraFan Demonstrator Engine including heat exchangers, high temperature electrical systems and additive layer manufactured components.
