ABOUT CHRIS GREEN

Since 1997, I have worked with individuals, couples, adolescents, families and groups in various therapeutic and ministerial settings. Licensed by the States of Texas and Oklahoma as a Marriage and Family Therapist, my perspective on therapy is an integrative approach that addresses issues from a holistic and complete view of the person. As an extension of my practice, I have also been trained as a Certified Life Coach, PREPARE/ENRICH, PREP and CPREP, and Habitudes, as well as being an ordained minister. While much of what is done in therapy involves assisting clients with their symptoms, I believe that there are often much larger issues that can be addressed in the process. My goal is to provide a space for those deeper conversations that can lead to true transformation. I am a 1995 graduate of Harding University with a degree in Youth and Family Ministry. I went on from there to Abilene Christian University and received a Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy in 1997. I spent the next eight years in full time ministry in West Texas which included working with Single Adult Ministry, Divorce Recovery, Grief Recovery, Family Ministry, and Youth Ministry. During my time in ministry, I also provided individual, couple, and family therapy in a pastoral setting. And for four years I had the privilege of teaching some amazing high-school students at Dallas Christian School. If you really want to get to know me, spend some time with my family! I’ve been married to Angela for 22 years now and we have two amazing boys, Taylor (20) and Austin (17). I truly am blessed to spend my life with these three people.
