My practice is concentrated around complex civil litigation and appeals. I focus my practice on plaintiff\'s legal malpractice, commercial litigation, plaintiff\'s personal injury and family law.I recently had the honor of arguing a case before the Illinois Supreme Court pertaining to a construction-related litigation matter involving the implied warranty of habitability. The case is captioned Sienna Court Condominium Association v. Champion Windows, et al, Case Number: 122022. On December 28, 2018, the Illinois Supreme Court ruled in favor of our clients, clarifying that subcontractors in Illinois cannot be held liable under the implied warranty of habitability regardless of the financial status of either the developer or the general contractor. The Supreme Court directed the trial court to dismiss the condominium association\'s claims against the subcontractors on remand.
