ABOUT CHRIS GOODELL

Principal Consultant and Technical Adviser for Hydraulics and Hydrology at Kleinschmidt Associates with over 30 years experience as a hydraulic engineer. My expertise is in river mechanics, dam safety, probabilistic and risk-informed solutions, automation of HEC-RAS, hydraulic design, computational hydraulic modeling and software development. I am licensed to practice engineering in the States of Oregon, Washington, Alaska, California, Texas, and Tennessee and am a Diplomate of Water Resources Engineering with the American Academy of Water Resources Engineering. I am an expert in the application of HEC-RAS and teach five levels of HEC-RAS courses to professionals. My HEC-RAS blog help site, The RAS Solution, is read internationally and I\'ve published a book on automating HEC-RAS, called \"Breaking the HEC-RAS Code\" I am co-host of the \"Full Momentum\" podcast and co-owner of Full Momentum Solutions. I am also a part-time instructor at in the College of Engineering at Oregon State University. My objectives are:To promote Kleinschmidt Associates as an internationally recognized leader in hydraulics and hydrology and as THE group to turn to for the most challenging water resources engineering projects.To serve my clients by using my background, experience, and expertise-and that of Kleinschmidt Associates-to develop creative and innovative solutions to complex water problems.
