I just started a new role as Optimization Team Lead at Air Products after recently retiring from ExxonMobil. My expertise is building first-principle, data-driven and hybrid models of existing and novel processes for petroleum refining, biofuels, petrochemicals and other relevant applications, which are then used for sustainable economic optimization. I\'ve led teams focusing on Optimization, Data Analytics, and Life Cycle Analysis and executed multiple projects in these areas.I\'ve developed and applied technology for planning, scheduling and manufacturing optimization in the refining and petrochemical industries, as well as implementing Real-Time Optimization applications - using rigorous on-line process models to economically optimize production via closed-loop automation.
