1. Director of Development

   Wesleyan Christian Academy

   Development duties include strengthening donor and corporate partner relations, capital campaign and major donor solicitation, financial aid appeals, annual fund, marketing planned giving, writing grants, donor stewardship, meeting budget and leading the alumni committee. I work directly with individuals and corporations to match their philanthropic interests with the needs and priorities of the school. The development team continues to meet yearly annual fund goals and exceeded our capital campaign goal of six million. I am also task to help with special projects and assist with strengthening community relations. In addition, I work with families applying for financial aid and manage the process. Have also provided direction with our IT department during a transition period, negotiated contracts for school management software, telephone, intercom and other vendor partners. I am also responsible for design, coordination of content, printing and mailing of our school newsletters and annual report. As needed, give school tours to perspective families.
