ABOUT CHRIS ELKIN

I’m interested in how people experience systems — especially when those systems are complex, stretched, or hard to navigate. My work sits at the crossroads of digital inclusion, primary care, social prescribing, and community support. On their own, none of these are new. What matters is what happens when we start connecting the dots between them.In place-based and rural settings, progress rarely comes from big standalone projects. It comes from joining up what already exists: communities and practices, digital tools and human support, voluntary action and neighbourhood spaces.I believe digital should enable connection, not replace it — and that the most effective change is often quiet, collaborative, and rooted in place. If you’re interested in community-led approaches, prevention, and making systems work better by joining the dots, I’m always happy to connect.
