Working as a member of the supplier quality department travelling to UK and European vendors supporting the supplier quality engineers with technical knowledge of inspection procedures which include-• Knowledge of multiple NDT / Inspection procedures (See qualifications)• Advising vendors on ways to improve their processes to prevent Code 9 NCR\'s (Vendor NCR\'s) and possible areas where the vendor would fail an audit• Carrying out Notice of inspections (NOI\'s) for other OSS plants Plant• Attending Pre production audits on new vendor parts suggesting ways of manufacture• Carrying out audits on potential vendors that require adding to the Approved Vendor List• Writing reports regarding any concerns to Supplier Quality Engineers aligned to Vendors
