Responsibilities • Reporting into the UK & I Managing Director• Working strategically with Global Managing Directors, Senior Leaders, Global HR Leaders, HRBP’s and CoE leads to develop and deliver people strategies, whilst ensuring compliance with people practices, policies, and labour laws• Working with other HR and Shared Services functions to deliver country, global and business unit people strategies• Lead the country labour relations with Trade Unions, Employee Rep forums and Works Councils • Coaching business leaders on people and organisational strategy • Supporting c.850 direct employees in the UK and Ireland total workforce)• Development and implementation of strategies to ensure Hitachi Energy is an employer of choice in the UK and Ireland, with support from the Global Employer Branding function• Supporting a diverse group of employees across the UK and Ireland in Construction, Engineering, Sales, Group Functions and Commercial roles• Budget controller for HR spend in the UK and Ireland• Accountable for all aspects of SHRM within the company including aspects such as organisational design & development, reward, learning & development, talent management, diversity & inclusion and IR• Managing and working with new and existing external partners to deliver the people strategy and meet compliance obligations
