About Chris Donahue

I am a Career Technical Education teacher with years of experiences teaching in the high school and adult ed classrooms. I also provide hands on training and education in a shop setting. In addition to being employed in the education field. I am also a well rounded construction professional. I have been involved in the construction industry in many different capacities and I have learned many lessons through both trial and error and learning from exceptional people. I have coordinated multiple trades in many projects and excelled when schedules are unforgiving. I have experience in large and small projects as Estimator, General Contractor, Sub-Contractor, Manager, and Installer. I have set budgets for projects worked within the confines of strict budgets and have met profit goals. I have estimated, contracted and successfully completed state and federal government projects as well as large commercial projects. In my career I have been presented with many challenges that have tested my resourcefulness and creativity. I have met these challenges and overcame them with what I consider my greatest skill which is adaptability. It because of my diverse construction background I have accumulated a great deal of valuable experience and have developed a vast network of resources in the industry. I believe that an extra hour today will save two wasted hours tomorrow. I believe flexibility and adaptability are the two characteristics that ensure a successful project. I am comfortable with what I know and my experience and I am eager to learn new methods and techniques and meet the challenges that await Experience: Teacher, Curriculum Writer, Project management, Project estimating, Project scheduling and implementation, Sub-contractor supervision, Facility management, Multi-Trade coordination and Mechanical implementation.
