About Chris Dickson

I am a rising senior at Miami University’s Farmer School of Business, pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Finance. This summer I am working as a Finance and Accounting LDP Intern for Textron at Bell Flight in Fort Worth, Texas. I am eager to gain hands-on experience in the industry and contribute to impactful financial projects. During my freshman year, I participated in the FYIC NextGenFuel Client Challenge, where I developed essential teamwork, collaboration, and public speaking skills while addressing real-world business challenges. This experience strengthened my problem-solving and critical thinking abilities, and introduced me to tools like SQL and Python, allowing me to drive meaningful outcomes as part of a high-performing team. I am also actively involved in campus organizations such as the Miami Finance Association, Miami Management & Leadership, and Delta Chi Fraternity. In my sophomore year, I was elected House Manager for Delta Chi, demonstrating my leadership, organizational skills, and ability to manage competing priorities. Through these roles, I have honed my communication, time management, and teamwork abilities. I am excited to bring my enthusiasm and skills to a dynamic finance team and contribute meaningfully to the organization’s success.
