   I’m a physical and chemical scientist working to better understand how historical industrial activities have impacted the environment. I have 31 years of experience in providing oversight and technical assistance for remedial investigations/feasibility studies (RI/FSs), sediment investigations and cleanup, surface and subsurface investigations, and the design and implementation of environmental investigation studies. At Tetra Tech I will play a key role in our National Sediments Program, ensuring our firm\'s sediment projects are aligned with the long-term solutions of our clients. I’m often called on as an expert specializing in developing strategic approaches for cleaning up sediment sites. I have been involved with investigations or cleanups on the following river systems: Columbia and Willamette Rivers, Oregon; Lower Duwamish River, Washington; Detroit River, Michigan; Passaic River, New Jersey; Hudson River, New York; Napa River, California; Hassayampa River, Arizona; Kinnikinic River, Wisconsin; and Turtle and Savannah Rivers, Georgia. I also have addressed complex contaminant release issues at multiple PRP Superfund sites and provided technical expert support for environmental litigation and allocation matters including development of technical foundations for liability and cost allocation agreements. I have also provided technical assistance at natural resource damage assessments (NRDAs) at sediment and groundwater sites.
