ABOUT CHRIS COOPER
I spent the better part of two decades in various operating roles in the software/tech industry. I’ve carried a bag for many years myself, managed sales teams, managed partnering and strategic relations organizations, and development teams. I cut my teeth in venture within a corporate venture organization and fell in love with entrepreneurship and all that company building entails. Marathons are always fun but I’ve also discovered that running a 50-miler now and again is a real gas. My LinkedIn profile pic is from a Grand Canyon double-cross (44 miles from rim2rim2rim), which turned out to be more fun to talk about than actually do. My wife (Holly) is a type 1 diabetic and kidney transplant recipient but she runs marathons anyway. Amazing. So, I like finding people who are built like that and creating ways to spend a lot of time with them, learn from them, be more like them. Turns out that the world of venture and company building is tailor-made for such people. And so I am lucky to do what I do. And the people I do it with at Pelion are among the best.
