I have responsibility for all infrastructure functions at National General, a Fortune 600 company. My areas of responsibility include, Citrix, Storage, Unix/Linux, Data Center Facilities, Network, Telecom, Retail Communications, IT Finance, VMware, Server Operations, Active Directory and Messaging. During my tenure at National General, I have been intimately involved in strategy development, including migration from Converged Infrastructure to Hyper Converged Infrastructure, closure and consolidation of 8+ data centers, development of operational and capital budgets as well as adherence to those budgets. In my role, I interact daily with business users and leaders across the four major business units ranging from Retail Sales locations, to mortgage lending services to Software as a Service offerings. • Leader responsible for an organization of more than 125 staff • Financial responsibility for budget of $50M+ • Consolidated all Virtual Desktop onto Hyper Converged Infrastructure supporting 5,500+ users per day • Network Services delivered services across more than 100 sites worldwide with greater than 99.9% availability • Closed/consolidated multiple data centers with minimal impact to business operations • Worked with peers and leadership to develop 3-year strategy document to provide roadmap to success • Decommissioned VCE Vblock and migrated to VxRail hyper converged environment • Developed plan and sponsored project to consolidate all Oracle workloads onto Nutanix HCI leveraging VMWare.
