The Arkansas Prostate Cancer Foundation (APCF) would like to announce the hiring of Chris Collier as the new Executive Director effective February 1, 2019. Mr. Collier takes over the leadership of the Foundation with thirty (30) years of experience in business, education, and non-profit administration. A native of Hot Springs and graduate of Hendrix College in Conway, Arkansas, Mr. Collier served as Director of Organizational Development with the Arkansas Teachers Corp, a Division of the University of Arkansas. “I loved the development work I was doing with the U of A, but this opportunity with APCF simply tugged on my heartstrings and was frankly impossible to let pass by,” Collier says.“Cancer, as a disease, is something very personal with me. I have lost friends and relatives to various forms of Cancer, including prostate cancer, and I also have a number of good friends who are prostate cancer survivors. I look forward to continuing the great work of the Foundation, and further raising prostate cancer awareness and providing education to all men throughout the great state of Arkansas.\"
