I am a Chartered Engineer and Fellow of the iMechE, working in the nuclear industry with expertise in nuclear and radiological safety. I am experienced in all stages of nuclear safety case production including hazard identification and analysis, mechanical, electrical and radiological design substantiation, safety case authorship and independent review. I have worked in decommissioning and fuel cycle industries. I also have expertise in nuclear site licence compliance, nuclear safety assurance safety cultural improvement and leadership. I also hold a range of technical safety expertise including: Safety Cases, HAZOP, HAZAN, SAFOP (SAFAN/SYSOP/OPTAN), SWIFT, consequence analysis, shielding design, design substantiation, Pressurised Water Reactors, Deterministic Assessment, Probabilistic Assessment (or QRA), asbestos management, nuclear safeguards.
