About Chris Ceder
I have worked 18 years in the retirement industry, spending the most recent 15 years at Goldman Sachs. During my tenure at Goldman Sachs, I managed a team of four employees driving both strategy and operations for the the $8B 401(k) plan,$1B pension plan. In 2015, I designed and launched the firm\'s Personal Finance Center for Goldman employees, which is an extensive financial wellness program integrating digital advice, human counseling and other services across 15 vendors. In 2017, the program won special recognition for Healthy Financial Lifestyles by the New England Benefits Group on Health.In 2018, I was one of eight recipients to receive funding from Goldman Sachs\' inaugural Accelerate program out of approximately one thousand global submissions. The project is to develop a digital-first retirement income platform and after 6 month of incubation in the Accelerate program, the project transitioned into the Consumer and Investment Management Division for further development and integration into the business. I transitioned my role from overseeing the retirement plans to being a retirement strategist in Client Strategy to further develop the firm\'s retirement solutions. At the same time, I transitioned to be the secretary of the firm\'s retirement committee, which has oversight over the investment menu for both the firm\'s 401k and pension plans.In 2010, I was receipient of Goldman\'s prestigious George E. Doty Fellowship, which is a scholarship program for one employee per division to receive Executive MBA. In 2012, I received an MBA from Columbia University.
