As a finance major and a CFA Level 2 candidate who has successfully cleared the exam, my journey in the world of finance has been both challenging and deeply rewarding. The CFA program, especially Level 2, sharpened my understanding of equity valuation, financial reporting, portfolio management, and complex financial instruments—strengthening my ability to analyze companies and markets with depth and clarity.Currently, I work as an Equity Research Analyst, where I also contribute to portfolio management. This role allows me to combine analytical thinking with real-time market insights, whether it\'s building financial models, forecasting earnings, or identifying investment opportunities. It’s fast-paced, intellectually stimulating, and constantly pushes me to stay ahead of trends and fundamentals.I began my career as a content developer in finance, accounting, and taxation. That experience helped me build a strong technical base and a structured approach to problem-solving—skills that continue to support my work today.Over time, I’ve developed a strong interest in corporate finance and investment banking. I’ve worked on capital budgeting project that involved evaluating investment decisions using financial metrics, and I’ve also built a Python-based stock analysis tool that uses data to assess company\'s performance. These hands-on experiences, combined with my background in financial modeling and market analysis, have further deepened my interest in strategic finance and prepared me to take on more complex roles in the industry.I’m always looking to connect with others who share a passion for finance, whether it\'s equity research, portfolio management, or investment banking.
