About Chris Canter
As Global Process Advisor in the Produce-to-Report organization. I\'m responsible for optimizing current process and practice on all functions from Production Accounting to Royalty Settlement across the Upstream, in both the US and international affiliates. In addition to near-term optimization, I serve as an advisor in design and testing process for ExxonMobil\'s global financial transformation project, Polaris. My core experience is in the Commercial and Land space, with previous roles as Landman, Lease Administration and Division Order Analyst, and in management over those roles, both as a first-line Supervisor and second-line Manager. I have extensive experience managing complex, US-based properties and interests associated with a \"supermajor,\" in both onshore, offshore, and emerging Carbon Capture and Lithium extraction businesses.In addition to the challenges associated with these fields, I\'ve managed major software and systems upgrades in the form of Quorum Land Suite, and served as a subject matter expert for SAP PRA Ownership, financial transformation efforts, and Federal Royalty functions. I\'ve also spent extensive time porting functions to ExxonMobil\'s Global Business Centers in addition to participating in ongoing training and education with those organizations.My background as a computer hobbyist and teacher allows me to easily interface with IT/Technical teams regarding software packages used to manage Oil and Gas information.
