About Chris C. Lau

Chris is currently the Chief Financial Officer of American Homes 4 Rent (NYSE: AMH), a publicly traded real estate investment trust, and is responsible for overseeing the Company’s financial functions, including financial planning and analysis, capital markets, investor relations, accounting, financial reporting, treasury and tax. Previously, he served as Vice President, Senior Vice President and then Executive Vice President – Finance from 2013 – 2018. Prior to AMH, Mr. Lau was a Senior Manager in Deloitte’s New York Real Estate M&A Advisory practice, serving as an advisor to real estate private equity and corporate clients, providing due diligence and other M&A services. Prior to his M&A Advisory role, he was a Senior Manager in Deloitte’s Real Estate Audit Practice, primarily serving equity REIT clients.
