My primary background is network security. I work with zero trust network technologies, multiple vendor firewalls, vulnerability management, incident response, and team management. I am currently the director of network infrastructure and cybersecurity. I have my bachelors in information computer systems and I am finishing my masters in cybersecurity March of 2025. I have experience in Qradar, Splunk SIEMs. Exposure to Windows Defender, and work in Crowdstrike EDR. I have experience in data governance and data classification. Exposure with DLP platforms within Windows, Zscaler, third party. I spent a few years with identity access management and systems but that was in the early My recent experience is with Aruba and Cisco ISE. Remote access technologies include Zscaler architecture, Cisco Anyconnect, Bastion deployments. I support small business with IT and ITSecurity on my own. With several large deployments of wireless technologies. I have the most experience with hospitality venues for wireless with Ruckus, Belkin (Old), some Cisco. My architecture and planning comes with security and network architecture. From backhaul to full stack to more decentralized management. Currently studying the GCIH, GISM and Cisco CCNP. I have exposure to PCI and SOX with multiple trainings in each. Training and mentorship includes network and security training. Project management training, and leadership training. I have had 300 support staff under me at one time during my career. I also tutor for certification exams for free with nearly 400 passing exams.
