ABOUT CHRIS BUXTON
I focus my practice on intellectual property, with an emphasis on patent and trade secret litigation. I have represented clients before U.S. district courts and the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB) in matters across a variety of industries, including medical devices, pharmaceuticals, wireless communications, semiconductor devices, field-programmable gate arrays (FPGAs), cryptography, natural language processing, automotive repair, building products, and digital rights management (DRM).I have drafted case dispositive motions before federal courts and have argued successfully in Markman hearings for key claim constructions. I also have extensive experience working with fact and expert witnesses to develop testimony and expert opinions, taking and defending depositions, coordinating discovery, and conducting prelitigation investigations.
