ABOUT CHRIS BURGESS

For the last ten years, Chris has been leading a team of aviation and security professionals that provide full solution aviation, protective and training solutions to customers around the world. Chris built the company from the ground up, recruiting an experienced management team, establishing and standardizing best in class policies and procedures, and managing over 200 highly-qualified personnel deployed in seven countries. In 2010, Chris oversaw the divestiture of Greystone from Xe Services, converting the company into a stand-alone, autonomous entity. In 2013, he spun of Greystone’s aviation business into the separate entity, Skycore Aviation. Chris has over seventeen years of experience in the defense and security industries. Before entering the private sector, Chris served seven years in the U.S. Navy, both in the special forces and the fleet. As a US Navy SEAL Officer, he coordinated special operation missions in the Caribbean, Africa and Europe; while a Naval Surface Warfare Officer, Chris was stationed in [and trained throughout] Southeast Asia. Chris has a B.A. from the University of Colorado, Boulder and a Masters in Business Administration from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth.
