ABOUT CHRIS BULL

I have been working within the events industry for the last 9 years. Starting out working in technical roles in theatres, I quickly realised I could marry my love for the outdoors with the enjoyment I got from the technical and logistical aspects of a stage show. Working up from litter picker and steward I started to learn about the different elements that are critical to a well run event. Having taken opportunity’s along the way to work with companies and events, such as, Glastonbury Festival of Performing Arts, BBC live events and London 2012 Olympics I have developed my management skills both onsite and in preparation for events. I aim to bring a down to earth and practical approach to event management.Managing people and logistics is what I enjoy most, working with peoples strengths to achieve the best outcomes for an event. I hope the learning will never stop and I am always interested in new projects and opportunities for acquiring skills or knowledge.Becoming a joint owner and director of Duck and Bull Ltd with my wife Holly will enable me to carry on work within other event teams, be it site management or driving plant, while at the same enable us to combine our experience and network to take on new projects together.Curently we are working with the FAB festivals team to help deliver a new exciting Food and Drink Festival in Gloustershire.
