As a Senior Principal Security Analyst in Oracle\'s Global Product Security division, I play an active role in defining cryptographic requirements and strategy for many of Oracle\'s security products that are required to meet the FIPS 140 cryptographic standard. Activities include collaborating with our crypto engineering teams to standardize our use of cryptographic libraries used within Oracle products. I sit on Oracle\'s Crypto Review Board that creates and governs internal standards for use of cryptographic algorithms, protocols, and libraries used within Oracle products. I have worked with sponsors to help define FIPS 140-2 requirements for an OpenSSL 3.0 FIPS provider that was validated to FIPS 140-2 by the OpenSSL Management Committee and Oracle. I have also presented many technical briefings at the International Cryptographic Module Conferences and International Common Criteria Conference. Currently supporting our FIPS 140-3 validations for Oracle Linux crypto libraries and other security certifications.
