ABOUT CHRIS BRUEGGE
I am an economist at Cornerstone Research, where I provide economic consulting and expert witness support in antitrust, competition, merger review, and merger litigation matters. I have worked on behalf of both government and private clients, supporting those clients from early-stage merger review to high-stakes trial in U.S. federal court. I have authored white papers and presented economic analysis before U.S. competition agencies, and I have assisted outside counsel and end-clients with large, cross-border merger review before the CMA in the United Kingdom and the in Australia. I received my Ph.D. in economics from Stanford University in 2018, where I specialized in industrial organization and energy economics. I have subsequently worked in a range of industries, including airlines, automobiles, music and media, payment systems, sports, and technology. Outside of work, I am active in my local community, my church, and most of all my family. And when I have free time, you can find me bicycling or backpacking in the mountains around the Bay Area.
