As a Director of ATB’s Loan Syndications Group, I work as part of a team who adds value to clients by increasing their access to capital and access to financial services. ATB’s Loan Syndications Group provides loan syndication arrangement and agency services to public and private corporations, private equity sponsors, and entrepreneurs. We designed deal structures to support client\'s corporate and growth strategies, with solutions ranging from leverage finance, reserve based lending, project finance, to general corporate. ATB’s Loan Syndication Group has significant market share in the Canadian syndicated loan market as the only Alberta domiciled syndications group bringing professionally arranged transaction to market.Specific activities included: • Manage all aspects of the syndication process for ATB lead syndications and where ATB is administrative agent. This includes working in concert with the client, the sponsor, legal counsel, the relationship managers, the lenders, and credit underwriters • Ensuring that the due diligence and information package is prepared and sufficient for the transaction • Leading the transaction through the origination, underwriting, marketing, documentation, and closing process• Negotiation of credit documents in liaison with legal counsel• Provide expertise and guidance to clients and ATB on current market structures• Managing all loan trading and secondary market activity
