   I serve as Executive Director of the Wilson Research Foundation, the fundraising arm of Methodist Rehabilitation Center in Jackson, MS, the state\'s largest and only not-for-profit hospital for medical rehabilitation. I am responsible for raising funds for human research studies, advanced education activities, innovative therapy technology and other hospital needs. Concurrently, I serve as part of hospital administration assisting with strategic communications, community relations and special projects.Prior to this position, I served in marketing and PR roles with progressive responsibilities. In 2007. I felt a stirring to consider a vocational path related to helping others. Days after I began praying for clarity about that, I ran into the Methodist Rehab CEO whom I\'d known years prior. Long story short, my prayer was answered. This began my journey of helping to raise more than $16 Million for a great hospital. This resulted in three research labs at our hospital filled with innovative technology, and 200-plus published studies during my years here. Furthermore, many therapists and nurses have received advanced training in specialized rehab care, thanks to our contributors. I have also applied my communications skills to help market/brand our center, and to help hospital executives with strategic communications to key constituencies. A great rehab hospital has a life-changing impact on patients, families and entire communities. And this is a great hospital. It is a privilege to have a role in this work of healing and hope.
