About Chris Billinger
I help facilitate M&A transactions and project financing in the utility space (power, water, telecom, and oil & gas) by advising clients on the technical aspects of the assets underlying those transactions. I have managed technical, environmental, and market due diligence projects covering over three gigawatts (GW) each of wind and solar assets in North and South America, Africa and Asia; over five GW each of coal and natural gas generation assets; over circuit miles of transmission and distribution assets up to 500 kilovolts (kV) across the United States, South America, and Canada; as well as water desalination facilities. I also has experience in municipal, state and national level integrated resource planning; economic impact analysis studies; and bankable feasibility studies for solar fixed tilt, single axis, and dual axis racking, photovoltaic (PV) modules and battery storage systems. Additionally, I act as team lead for Black & Veatch Management Consulting\'s Transaction Services team, which provides a \"one-stop-shop\" for technical market, regulatory, and strategic services of M&A, as well as financing transactions. In the past five year, this team has supported over $100 billion worth of transactions over 500 engagements.
