Manage 170+ employees across various roles within a fast-paced transport company and play an important part in fulfilling the several contracts the business has as a one-person department being the focal point of all HR matters within the business. Answering emails to internal and external stakeholders. Building relationships with external recruitment agencies to help people back into work and support their development. Sending several daily reports to directors updating them on recruitment, annual leave, absences, training and disciplinary matters. Identify, interview and select prospective new employees to ensure no gaps are left unfulfilled whilst adhering to a strict budget. Conduct disciplinary and investigation meetings. Deliver training to all employees to ensure compliance on all aspects of employee job roles. Introduced several polices and performance management tools in role to date all which have had a positive impact on revenue, employee relations, staff retention and compliance. Currently helping the business achieve 100% electrification by 2025.
