You could say that retail is in my blood. I started in retail sales during college and never left. I started as an hourly associate and worked my up to Regional Director by learning and succeeding in every job in between. I have a deep understanding of the retail market, what products sell and how to sell them, and most importantly, what drives customers to make a buying decision. In retail, every day is a fresh start—and an opportunity to perform better than the day before. That’s a challenge I embrace.I’ve successfully led operations for 250 stores with annual sales of $359MM, provided oversight for a workforce of nearly and driven profitability for the largest retailers in the world. I’ve succeeded in an industry that many others have not. I thrive on the challenges that retail has faced and will face in the future-local and online competition, supply issues, staffing difficulties, technology and automation, rising customer expectations, natural disasters, and pandemics-the list goes on and on. I have an innate ability to tackle problems head-on, identify core issues, and develop effective short- and long-term solutions—all with a calm and focused attitude that keeps others on track.As a leader, I strive to pass my knowledge and experience on to others.
