ABOUT CHRIS BARROW
I’m a content leader with 20+ years of experience building high-impact programming across broadcast, digital, and social platforms — from MuchMusic and Sportsnet to shaping one of the most successful esports media brands in the world at theScore. My career began in television, producing and editing original series for MuchMusic, where I earned a Juno nomination for disBand the Series. I later moved into sports broadcasting, overseeing original programming, branded content, and large-format productions for both theScore and Sportsnet, including serving as Executive Producer and Showrunner for Gillette Drafted and the PokerStars NHL Alumni Charity Shootout. In 2015, I transitioned into digital leadership at theScore, where I built theScore esports from a one-person idea into a 30-person operation with 6M+ followers, 1B annual views, and $1.5M in yearly revenue. We forged partnerships with major brands like Cash App, Intel, OMEN, Acer, Amazon, Riot Games, and Red Bull, and created a content ecosystem that thrived while much of the industry contracted.Today, I specialize in building teams, systems, and storytelling engines that resonate across platforms — broadcast, digital, social, or whatever comes next.If you would like to learn more about me, please connect with me on LinkedIn or email me at m••••••••@gmail.com.Specialties: Digital content, digital strategy, content strategy, video production, postproduction and branding.
