About Chris Antonelli
I’m a Board-Certified Sports Physical Therapist and athletic trainer that specializes in overhead athletes and ACL rehabilitation. As a former collegiate baseball player, my passion lies with helping keep athletes on the field and, when injured, returning them to play at a high level. I have a special interest in working with baseball athletes, return to sport rehabilitation, return to sport testing in both upper and lower extremity athletes, and return to performance. I have teaching experience at the Elon University and Duke University Doctor of Physical Therapy Programs, am faculty for the Duke Division 1 Sports Physical Therapy Fellowship program, am a clinical instructor for long term PT & PT/AT students, as well as work with USA Baseball as a PT/AT for the Athlete Development Program and the MLB Draft combine. I also enjoy presenting to audiences on various evidence based topics in sports medicine and am a co-author in the medical text book “The Achilles Tendon” authoring a chapter on functional Achilles rehab and other topics in medical journals.
