ABOUT CHRIS AGUIRRE
I am a Veteran of the United States Army, and received an Honorable Discharge as a Sergeant after nearly 7 years of service. In the Army, I was a combat Engineer & Military Police Officer. I was employed by the Harris County Sheriff\'s Office where I was assigned to Detentions, the Emergency Response Team and eventually moved onto the Patrol Bureau. I worked at FedEx Express for a while before getting back into corrections. I began working at the GeoGroup (Joe Corley Detention Center) as a Lieutenant in August of 2016, and was promoted to Captain in July of 2018. In August of 2018, I transferred to the Montgomery Processing Center and assisted with preparing the facility to open its doors for detainees and worked towards achieving a new ICE contract. In October 2018, a career change was made to the construction industry where I oversaw the Safety, Training, Warehouse, Fleet, & Assets of all employees at Comflow Mechanical Services. In August 2022, I moved over to The Brandt Companies / Southland Industries.
