Summary:Joined the Omniverse organization within NVIDIA to take ownership of SRE/DevOps responsibilities for the microservice framework team. Built foundational infrastructure and automated workflows that were adopted across the organization. Led the design and implementation of key systems, including a Docker image automation pipeline used by the entire organization. Transitioned to an infrastructure team, where I led the creation of a Cloud SaaS GitOps workflow, collaborating with development and security teams in addition to onboarding an SRE team.Key Achievements- Designed and implemented a highly efficient Docker image automation pipeline, producing images for various services and applications across multiple environments, later handing it over to a dedicated team due to its widespread organizational use- Developed modular CI building blocks to automate key workflows, such as project versioning, changelog generation, multi-service Docker image builds, and publishing Python artifacts to PyPI repositories- Built prototype cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform/Terragrunt), automating deployments with CI workflows, creating Ansible roles for building and deploying Cloud AMIs- Spearheaded the organization’s secret management initiative by designing and automating the provisioning of Vault namespaces, significantly enhancing security and operational efficiency- Led the design, implementation, and management of a Cloud Native SaaS offering using GitOps workflows (Kubernetes, ArgoCD, GitLab), collaborating with security teams to address vulnerabilities and implement proper secret management. Trained and onboarded a dedicated SRE team to take over the infrastructure stack, ensuring a smooth handoff and continued scalability as the platform went live for customers.
