Hi, I’m Chris — a Senior Manager in BDO’s Accounting & Reporting Advisory Services Strategic Projects group based in Philadelphia. I help companies navigate complex financial reporting and technical accounting challenges, especially in the life sciences, technology, and retail industries.With more than 12 years of experience across public accounting and industry, I’ve supported organizations through everything from preparing SEC filings and financial statements to developing accounting policies, assessing internal controls, and getting ready for an IPO. I’m experienced in implementing new accounting standards and tackling tricky areas like stock‑based compensation.Before rejoining BDO, I served as Director of External Reporting and Compliance at a leading discount retailer. I oversaw all SEC reporting (10‑K, 10‑Q, 8‑K, and the proxy statement), led SOX compliance, managed the company’s equity compensation plan, and worked closely with external auditors and tax advisors. I started my career in audit at a Big Four firm, working with clients in healthcare, life sciences, and tech.I’m always excited to connect with professionals navigating accounting change, scaling reporting processes, or planning for major milestones.
