ABOUT CHOERUNISA NOOR SYAHID

I am a researcher at Research Center for Area Studies, National Research and Innovation Agency or BRIN (previously known as Indonesia Institute of Sciences or LIPI). I obtained my Master of Sciences in Urban Management and Development Studies from Institute for Housing and Urban Studies, Erasmus University Rotterdam. Since Urban Regional Development Strategies and Anthropology as my education background, I conducted research mostly on urban development strategies and its relation to community perception and interpretation. My research interest are includes but not limited to sustainable cities, smart cities, resilience cities and its relation to public-private-people partnership, stakeholders engagement, and community participation in the urban level. During the pandemic until now, we developed PT Kalnika Kanal Utama (or called as Kalnika Group) as a holding company which operating in creative industries. Here, as the Chief Operation Officer, I have to build strategic business planner and ensure that our holding company has significant role in regional development by fostering the economic growth and social well-being in community through cultural enrichment and unlimited creativity. Under Kalnika Group, currently we have Tujurupa and Umbar Gagas Kreatif. Tujurupa focused on but not limited to Professional Conference Organizer. Our clients are from international NGO\'s, central government, state-owned companies, and private sectors in Indonesia and Southeast Asia. Our clients mostly came from national and local government in Indonesia.
