I\'m a recent graduate of Louisiana State University\'s Manship School of Mass Communication. I completed my bachelor of arts in mass communication with a focus in print journalism and double minors in sociology and crime studies. I\'m currently a research and data entry intern with Visit Baton Rouge.Previously, I\'ve held various roles through on-campus organizations and other LSU-related communities. During my time with the student newspaper, the Reveille, I finished my time off as sports editor after holding roles as digital managing editor, digital editor and sports reporter. Simultaneously, I completed a magazine editor internship with the LSU Alumni Association and held executive positions on two club boards, from vice president to public relations lead.

As a research and data entry intern for Visit Baton Rouge, I file through the customer relationship management system of over accounts to update information for transfer to a new system. I work on behalf of the sales team to change outdated contact information and company/event locations.In addition to this, I also identify potential clients for the city to boost tourism by researching mission statements from organizations within specific demographics. I work directly under the Vice President of Destination Sales & Experience.Aside from the sales team, I help out on the marketing team, working closely with the client relationship manager to research and approve local event submissions for the public to benefit from and updating partner listings’ photos online to ensure up to date content. I also complete assignments for the digital content manager, writing blog posts related to upcoming events, assisting on photo and video content shoots for social media and cleaning micro sites and old blog posts for transition to a new CMS.
